[...] Olive, a mixed English Pointer, has joined the Steck family. As most of you know, I had to put my golden retriever, Bailey, down earlier this year because of old age and a stroke. I’ve missed her terribly. Courtney, my yellow lab, has also been in a bit of a funk. So, it was time. [...]

I knew Bailey very well. Everytime I would go over to Jennifer's house, she would great me with a wagging tail and loving doggie kisses. She played as a puppy even though her doggie years said otherwise. She romped and pranced as a puppy as we chased each other around Jennifer's house. Bailey will definetly be missed.
She is now in doggie heaven with my irish setter, Lady.

Bob- When we headed to the clinic, I knew it was the right thing to do. There was no other decision to make. Bailey was a great dog and I'm very lucky to have had her for so long. Now I will be spoiling Courtney, my other dog. Courtney came shortly after Bailey and has always had her around.

Chocolate sound great. Your description made me laugh. Thanks for the support.

I am so sorry to hear about Bailey. But there comes a time when its best...

I had to chuckle, seems like my Chocolate has the same personality as Bailey... I can never get a good picture of him...Its like I am stealing his soul. But mine would greet the burglars from behind my legs with his hair standing straight up...then sniff the DNA out of their pants.

I hate trackbacks like the above...
